Ashley and James's countryside wedding was a picturesque affair set against the enchanting backdrop of Highley Manor. This stunning country house, with its rich history dating back to the 17th century, provided a perfect setting for their special day. Highley Manor has a storied past, with rumors suggesting that Edward, Prince of Wales (the uncrowned Edward VIII), entertained Mrs. Simpson within its walls. During World War II, it served as a base for the Canadian Army, adding another layer of historical significance to this beautiful venue.
As a wedding photographer, I’m always filled with a buzz of excitement when I'm booked to shoot a wedding at such breathtaking venues like Highley Manor. The manor’s timeless charm and picturesque grounds never fail to inspire me. Walking through its manicured gardens, surrounded by towering trees and rolling hills, my creative juices start flowing, and I feel a deep sense of appreciation for the opportunity to capture such meaningful moments.
